Vienna, December 2024 – Just in time for the holiday season, Thomson is making a statement of solidarity by supporting social institutions in Vienna with a kind donation. The company has donated 12 Google TV UHD 55” TVs to three charitable organizations to aid their work and spread joy.
The donations went to SOS Kinderdorf, a senior residential community of the Wiener Hilfswerk Organization, and the Vienna Bulgarian School. These institutions provide essential services for children, seniors, and education.
THOMSON is pleased to contribute in a small way by providing modern technology. The donations are intended for entertainment, educational purposes, and community activities within the institutions. With this gesture, THOMSON emphasizes its commitment to social responsibility, showing that technological advancement can also benefit society.
"Especially at Christmas, we feel it's important to give something back to those who dedicate themselves to helping others. With our TVs, we hope to create opportunities for entertainment as well as shared experiences and learning," explains Nicole Pacheiner, Marketing Director at THOMSON.
THOMSON is thus supporting the welfare of the region and hopes this donation will enrich the daily lives of those in the various institutions.
