Berlin. September

electronics and home appliances. Thomson was also present at this large-scale event
and exhibited its latest TV range on a booth covering 240m2.
New products, new faces and a brand anniversary
5 days, 140+
countries and 180,000+ visitors. Those numbers explain IFA in a nutshell. It was
the ideal environment to showcase existing as well as upcoming products, catch
up with consumers and get to know potential new business contacts. On top of
that: This year Thomson turned 130 years old and thus has a rich heritage with
lots of experience to show for it. Today, this European brand is still a
pioneer in the technology industry as it has contributed to some of the most
significant revolutions, ranging from manufacturing the first radios, TVs, video
recorders, mp3 players and more. Yet, it has always stayed true to its mission:
Creating cutting-edge technology and making it accessible and affordable for
everyone.
For this, Thomson is renewing its approach in the TV market, paying special attention to developing useful innovations that put customers first. A Thomson TV is a high-quality, reliable, and easy to use. A product that connects people, to create memorable moments together.
What products can consumers look forward to?
In 2024 all Thomson Smart TVs will get a revamp, as the operating system will be switched from Android TV to Google TV. This allows customers to enjoy more personalized content as well as create multiple user profiles.
Thomson is also expanding its QLED range with QLED Plus and QLED Pro models, which will be available in multiple sizes. In comparison to the existing QLED products, the new TVs will have an integrated front speaker at the bottom of the display, creating a cinematic audio experience that allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the action on screen. QLED Pro models will additionally have a 144Hz refresh rate, guaranteeing smooth movements and perfect responsiveness for gaming enthusiasts and sports fans.
Another product that customers can eagerly await: The Lucid OLED. The name already hints at its most distinct feature, a transparent glass pane that makes up the entire TV screen. This new display technology adds a completely new dimension to watching TV, as its screen becomes completely see-through when turned off. The Lucid OLED is a decorative element that fits perfectly into any room as it seamlessly merges with the surrounding environment. It represents a new generation of display technology that makes your hotel lobby, waiting area, restaurant or home stand out.
Easy TVs, White TVs and Camping TVs
Of course, proven favourites such as EasyTVs, White TVs, and Camping TVs continue to be part of the Thomson range. Like all Thomson TVs these products are equipped with a backlit remote control, ensuring effortless navigation even in dimly lit environments. Additionally, all sizes feature a frameless design, guaranteeing modern aesthetics and an optimal screen-to-body-ratio.
